Midweek Musings with Sandy K.

For our Midweek Musings today, I want to let all of you see the inspiring testimony I received recently from Sandy Kissinger after my two-part sermon series, “His Persistent Presence.”  With her permission, I am copying Sandy’s note below.  We pray that each of you have experienced the Lord’s presence in some way, and that you remain ready and willing to meet the Holy Spirit in your life whenever he reveals himself to you.  May you know the full assurance of faith we find in the Lord.  He is always with us; we just notice him in special ways at times.

Blessings,
Pastor Steve
“I enjoyed last week’s sermon and this week also, Steve. I miss being at church with all of you, but you made me laugh when you did the sample of the church with your hands. I often did this with my kids too.

I remember the one day at Zion when I too felt the Holy Spirit in me.  I had asked God for this miracle, and I remember that moment so vividly.  I wanted to stand up and shout, “I feel it!”  I finally understood, and it was such a great feeling, one I had never experienced before.

The Holy Spirit is with me, and I have such comfort in that. God has gotten me through so much in my life, and I give him praise. I don’t understand how people doubt him. He is my everything, and I am nothing without him.  I sing his praises to everyone. Praise God!!!!

Give my love to everyone at Zion.  I miss you all so much.

Sandy Kissinger
