Midweek Musings with Sandy

I received a very inspiring note from Sandy Kissinger this week following my message last Sunday, “Seizing Supernatural Strength.”  With her permission, I am copying the note to you as our Midweek Musings reflection.  Sandy mentions Abra, her first great-granddaughter.  She died suddenly twelve years ago at the age of five months.

Blessings,
Pastor Steve

“Hi Steve. I just got done listening to your words of strength from God. As I sit here, I’m reminded of the many times I’ve cried out to God for strength and felt the goodness from God in so many ways. I thank God every second of my life for his Glory, for his Blessings, and for the Forgiveness that he has given me.

God is my all through all my trials. I’ve always cried out to him, even the one time I cried out with anger when my beautiful Abra was called home by him. I never knew such heartache as I did at that time, and I was surprised how he comforted me in my deepest despair. From that time forward, I learned how important God was to me in my life. He has been my rock in helping me to be patient and to trust in him to see me through my troubles in the storms.

By his Grace he has taught me to TRUST in him and know that his will be done. My children, grandchildren, and my littles are so very important to me, and I thank God everyday for the Blessings he has given to me in them.  I also know he will always be there for them too! God is good, he is my strength, and to him I give all the Glory! AMEN!

Sandy Kissinger”
